I created the photographic construction "Wilmer Wise" in 1996 as part of a series of constructions based upon the performing arts. It is comprised of wood, found objects and photographic silverprints that are toned, bleached, painted and mounted on wood. Wilmer Wise is a classical music trumpet player. I photographed him in 1995 during an interview for a video installation on the subject of John Cage.
