"Touch"is
a wall installation made up of a series of video stills focused
on human interaction. Various social situations are contrasted
in visual formal terms as well as for their psychological importance.
The video texture or "imprint"on the images forms
an additional layer between the viewer and the images that serves
to highlight the voyeuristic implications and nature of the
video medium. "Touch"examines the power and pull of
human interaction in the context of the alienated human condition
of contemporary technological society.
