"Dignity","Creature"and "Twister"are from a series that explores the female nude as a canvas of society reflecting various themes such as sexuality, social mores, religion and mythology, eroticism, identity, and culture. This work combines my interests in studio photography, dark room manipulation, digital image manipulation, drawing and painting. The studio process was a close collaboration of ideas with the models photographed. The work is informed by fashion photography, popular culture, pornography and art history. They are currently on display at the Painted Bride in Philadelphia as part of Photo Transformation presented by inliquid.com a Philadelphia artist resource web site.
